Known limits
- Tenders
- MahaTenders robots.txt disallows automated reading. The project owner chose to read its public pages slowly, with an honest identifier. A person types every CAPTCHA.
- Awards
- Collection is partial while it runs. Award pages print no publication date or estimate, so many tenders have no financial year. Work types are inferred from titles.
- Directives
- Compiled from press reports and public posts, not BMC orders. Some were read through machine translation. Dates marked "article" are the report's own date.
- Ward disease
- Praja Foundation data, non-official, and limited to BMC dispensaries. Its licence is unconfirmed, so check with Praja before any public launch. Some cells are flagged as unusual.
- Ward budgets
- BMC Ward Wise Books for 2021-22 to 2023-24. Praja's lower figures leave out maternity homes and cemeteries.
- Wards
- BMC now appears to have a P East ward, but the published map has 24 wards. Reports naming P East are stored under P North.
- Deaths in 2023
- BMC's Environment Status Reports print 39,255, which looks like swapped digits. BMC's Demographics page prints 93,255, and this app uses that.
- Not used yet
- Hospital Performance Reports: their labels are in a legacy Marathi font and cannot be read reliably. Capital implementation schedules are also not extracted.
